Duro Olowu - Spring 2013: I think I am in love!

The Spring 2013 collection from Nigerian designer Duro Olowu has me transfixed. It is so beautiful, elegant and over the top at the same time. 
He mixes different prints and styles that shouldn't really work together - but he just makes it work. Beautifully! 

In an interview Duro stated, that he wants to avoid creating girlie looks, because he aspires to create for "a woman that stands her ground". His pieces irradiate confidence and style and I would like to wear the first 3 looks as well as the silver dress right now!
